    Ungas,
thanks for coordinating it with Phil G.

    lc80,
para sakin mas mahirap ang sacobia. mas maluluwag ang daan sa hi-peak. but trails changes. that is base on my feb.2002 trip there.

For sure hidi tayo aakyat ng Hi-Peak on Feb. 8 & 9.

We will likely to follow LRCP's trail the following week. With Phil and his friends returning there.

    Ungas,

I suggest that you guys, along with some of those from AI, go during the LRCP event. Besides, LRCP won't go before the trail is cleared. I think they're gunning for the 15th to 16th. Go when the Land Rovers are there to prove that your Patrol can run with the legendary Land Rovers. I'm confident it can. More so if you had mud-terrains. Remember, most Rovers have open diffs while your Patrol is locked. Running with the Rovers will earn the Patrol the respect that it so much deserves. Worst case: You'll get stuck together or not get thru it at all. If your Patrol won't make it then most of the Land Rovers also won't. There's virtually nothing that a stock Land Rover can do that a Patrol can't. Spec for spec, the Defender and the GQ Patrol with the rear locker are almost equals.

Remember, Phil drives a Nissan Frontier and his only advantage over your Patrol are his mud-terrains...

Hell, if I were there, I'd drive my half-priced Mitsu Canter with them and make a bigger point... hehe...

Latest Scoop: Feb 8-9 event is excluve to LRCP. Only way to go with a non-Rover is to be invited by Phil Geeslin.

johnqpublic318::: I did tried my luck on Phil. He can't make an assurance that the Rover club would approve it. But he will be back there the following weekend and told me that's the only assurance that we could go up to Hi-Peak.
