yap. my dmax is nearly 15mos old at 39511kms. this week will schedule the 40k kms pms na. sayang nga, dahil emergency, hindi v-belt ang nakabit ko ordinary lang. Size 60" ata yun at 150ea sa Laoag. Yung smaller belt sa alternator, pa replace ko narin kahit d pa sira.

ma update nga yun dmax owners thread. d sya popular tulad ng innova, x-trail o fortuner threads.

on the subject of older models getting phased out...

imho lang ha...tingin ko you should also consider if a particular model sold well. kung medyo kalat kasi sa daan, chances are the auto shops are gonna keep selling parts for them -- lalo na if a certain model is supposedly "phased out" but reincarnated under a different name -- i.e. L300, fuego/IPV, even the humble ae111 corolla. tingin ko yan nga ang problem sa newer models, coz you don't know which ones are gonna sell well( i'm guessing that auto shops are also guessing which spare parts for which brand/models they should be keeping in stock)

    Dmax!
ive never had any interests in pickups before but i fell in love with the Dmax when i saw the blue Dmax of my acquiantance with its rugged and macho look with matching big rims and fat tires.....

errr, its a different story with the Alterra though

i vote for the Hilux, kaso for business use pala, parang expensive ang repair pag meron computer box and crdi..

kelangan ba brandnew? how about 2nd hand hilux using the 2.8 diesel (3L) engine

Yup, brand new pickup po. Kung 2nd hand, malamang bibilhin na lang nila yung Starex van namin.

update lang...learned from isuzu makati that they may still have a few units of the ipv pickup/fuego left. apparently big companies can request certain IPV body types if they order enough of it. sometimes me tingi tingi na naiiwan
