correct ka dyan falken_09, parts ko banawe lang ako nakakakita, almost pareho ng Prado dito yung hilux surf ko kaya normally, bili na muna ako sa banawe and then dala ko sa talyer na gagawa.

last year hirap maghanap ng parts kahit banawe kaso pansin ko ngayon, dumadame na ang nagbebenta...

i agree basta pag surplus mag focus ka lang sa convertion eh mas maganda performance ng makina and overall. pero pag medyo ala ka alam sa auto delikado ka sa mga surplus.

teka magkano nga ba boxtype pajero na surplus? nag babalak ako eh. gusto kasi yung may intercooler.

Dapat when you get one from subic or auction na converted, me budget ka rin for overall repairs. A friend of mine had the following fixed in his delica:

1) Turbo (sumusunog na ng oil) fixed and turbo timer added.
2) Steering mechanism replaced (hyndai grace yata ang donor), the replacement fits nicely as if original.
3) Change timing chains (nung binuksan for the turbo sinabay na) and tuned up.
4) Diesel nozzles where also cleaned (smoke free na after that).
5) Carpet detailing.
6) Side mirror mounts were replaced para tumugma for a LHD.
7) Auto tranny was checked.

It cost him another P30,000 at least.

Ang dapat pa sanang pinalitan niya pero out of the budget na were:
1) Orig dashboard (not available unless L300 ang ilagay niya).
2) Front seats modifications para maging pang LHD talaga.
3) Handbrake dapat itransfer sa left side.

Overall, hindi na masama.

Kasya ang dashboard ng Hyundai Grace sa Delica. Mas modern pa dahil mabilog na.

I have a hilux surf, ok naman so far,
just check the conversion, and the other people are right, alot enough budget for repairs.

Pajero jr. doesn't have parts here ata, it's better to get a 3dr pajero or a 3dr vitara/escudo
