January 15th, 2006 10:27 AM #1I have a problem with my shifting pattern. I own a 1995 Isuzu Plaisir Bighorn. My RPM always fluctuates when I'm going over 60. I had it fixed already but the problem is back. What can I do or what should I tell the mechanic when I get it fixed?
Btw, where can I get an original left-hand drive dashboard? Mine was converted from Subic and the dashboard they put in replacement is pangit. (parang minasilya lang).
Thanks.

i think the problem might be in the fuel delivery system. parang may nudge kapag tumatakbo na. mausok ba?
afaik, the plaisir's engine is the 3.0L 4JX1 EFi. same as the local trooper.
the dashboard naman, try mo sa isuzu.

AFAIK, Walco in Banawe has Dashboards. Keep in mind that dashboards are rarely sold as a complete unit. May shell lang, merong may panels, etc. Basta iba ibang levels of completeness.
Or you can also try and get in touch with kimpOy as your Apalit Pampanga tourguide. hehehe. Ito na yata ang alternative career niya. :D

January 16th, 2006 02:26 AM #4if its a 95 model then 4JG2 pa engine nyan. but agree ako kay banaweonline mukhang fuel delivery. step by step solution muna. check/replace fuel filter, then injectors.

May 4th, 2006 08:55 PM #8Bro i was a bit curious dun sa temperature guage nung bighorn ko (honda horizon) kc lage less than or 1/2 yung temperature kaya what i did was bimuli ako nung mechanical guage temperature. Unfortunately it gave me a different temperature reading. Minsan sobra init umaabot ng 200 degrees so that means more than half, pero dun sa digital yung sa instrument panel onte pa before mag 1/2. Kc my uncle owns a bighorn before then on his way to the province biglang umiba yung andar over heat n pla cya pero yung temperature guage nya 1/2 lng.
