Pwede ba ang 31x10.5x15?

Sir, patanong lang ng freind ko... pwede ba ang tire size na 31x10.5x15 or 31x10Rx15 sa mags na 15x6 lang size. Any Possitive or negative effect?? Thanks;)

pwede yan. si Otep and KC Boy were using 12.5 inch tires with 15 x 7 rims for a while. wala namang issues.

Thanks andy, me nag-advise nga rin sa akin na okey lang yun. Original size kasi ng tire 235/75/15 and he's planning to change with BS Dessert Dueller (31x10Rx15)

Kasya naman but not necessarily recommended by tire manufacturers. Kasi hindi maximized yung full tread width ng tire.

If your firend can find another model from BS much better, since Duelers are already out with newer designs.

Based from previous feedback from offroad community, the plies tend to crack under pressure. And separate itself from the tread rubber. But if he or she will only use it for city driving, they have to contend with it. Since tires used for daily city transport are not subjected to harsh conditions such as trails.

The size is no problem. Some of the guys who wheel their Monteros run on that combo. Just keep inflation pressures on the low side (~28 psi) so that the center section is not too stressed.

Thanks, Sir Ungas and Sir Otep...How about BS Dueller A/T na 265/70/15...is it the same or much recommended than 31x10R?

That would lead you to a lesser overall tire height at 29.60 inches.

The 265/75R15 has 30.64 inches, which is closer to 31x10.5R15. Btw, don't be mislead by inch tire measurements, they are also under spec. A 31" tire has overall height of around 30" only.
