IMm29: Yup plan ko din ipa-super dark tint yung harap pag sanay na ako sa size ng Fortuner. Hirap pa kasi tantyahin hehe. Sanay kasi ako sa CR-V and other smaller vehicles.

oh, and don't forget the HIDs while you're at it. to complement your super dark tint

I was really in favor of the color white for SUVs because they tend to make the SUV much bigger looking... White Pajeros, White Patrols, White Prados, White LC100s definitely look cool... Even White Escalades pag nakakapanuod sa MTV Cribs...

But then the white for fortuner is too dull for my taste and I tried searching for the reason why...

Turns out that every piece of panel, bumper, metal of the fortuner is white... while the Pajeros, Patrols, Land Cruisers have white... and some kind of chrome, silver/metal linings...

Kumbaga white with some "bling" really looks good... But just plain white without any of the "bling" is just plain dull...

IMHO ko lang po... We have a white SUV and was supposed to get a White Fortuner... pero ngaun yung Gold & Gunmetal ang favorite fortuner colors ko...

On the other hand, refreshing din naman ang 'cleanliness' ng design ng Fortuner.

Check the doorhandles, roof rails and the sidemirrors the next time you see one. They're not body colored.






Side note: As far as I know, the people who go for white Pajeros, CR-Vs, Expeditions, Explorers, etc etc want to paint the body plastics (e.g. bumpers, side mouldings, door handles, side mirrors) to match the paint.

mas maganda nga talaga pag naka-body-color sa cr-v, hehe. malinis tingnan. yung white prado ng friend namin galing atang dubai, originally bronze yung plastics, pinabody color din niya yung mga body plastics, gumanda lalo. mukhang madungis pag iba ang kulay, hehe. pero depende din siguro, iba-iba taste ng tao eh.
