July 31st, 2011 04:58 PM #827TUMPAK sir! Galing!
Nice buy at congrats!

Someone from Isuzu Philippines told me that there is now serious plan to bring the DMax iTEQ VGS Turbo finally here in Philippines ---- it's been out since 2006 actually, and yes, it has always been VGT-equipped ;)
Both Isuzu Japan and Toyota Motors had been producing 3.0-litre diesel CRDi engines with VGTs since 2001, where Isuzu Motors exporting them mainly to Europe (Saab of Sweden, Opel of Germany, and Renault of France) over the last 10 years

It was only after Mitsubishi made a big marketing push about VGT that made it seem like Mitsubishi was the only pcik-up and SUV that had it localy. When in fact Ford had it already since the TDCI models came out since 2007, it was just Ford didn't play around the VGT angle as much as Mitsubishi at the time it was launched.
Sulit ah, gamit na gamit.
