MMDA to resume confiscation of licenses

Ayos po ang ganyan kung maayos na at nasa mga tamang lugar na ang redemption center on every designated area, pero kung lahat ay sa Main LTO pa kukunin sa palagay ko ay wala sa ayos yan.

How about if you are balikbayan, marami na changes sa traffic that you do not know and then, na-apprehend ka ng traffic officer Friday night. And, you're about to leave by Monday back to overseas and No Time to redeem you're license and you really need it back to other country. Kahit na ayaw natin maglagay, wala tayo magiging choice but to bribe them. And, how we can redeem our license as soon as possible if the traffic officer who confiscated our license is nag-attend pa ng birthday party or nakipag-fiesta or sick-leave and forgot to forward our license to their redemption center or naiwala nila our license, their resposibility pero tayo rin ang perhuwisyo!

SO, DO YOU THINK THIS IS A VERY GOOD PROCEDURES & SYSTEM OF OUR TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT?

dapat mag modernize na nga tayo dito. luma na yang kinoconfiscate ang license.

Mas gusto ko pa rin yung magbabayad sa bank. Panu kung nahuli ka out of town? Parang dati nahuli ako sa may Angono, linagyan ko na lang para wala nang abala, alangan na babalik pa ako dun para lang sa license ko.

laking abala talaga...(though masarap mag drive pag ala kang license tipong ticket lang ang nasayo...untouchable ka hehehe i mean, pano ka nila huhulihin kung ala ka ng license (amf how juvenile eh noh )) Honga...babalik ang mga abusadong kotong cops na nakaabang sa mga lady drivers na feeling nila madaling matakot. Dapat magkaroon ng concrete objectives ang MMDA on this system. Is this a Fund Raising in a legal way or To Discipline the motorist?
If this is a legal Fund Raising, I think no need to confiscate the license in order the driver to violate more and the MMDA is getting more income from those traffic violators.

Mas maganda pa rin talaga at win-win situations is to pay in the bank directly or just issue the Ticket, 1 copy is for the driver & the original is input/attach to the drivers name in MMDA database and collect all their violations ticket on license renewal.

On that way, magkakaroon ng income & budget ang MMDA for their salaries, uniforms, equipment, service vehicle etc. at independent funding na ang MMDA at hindi kasali sa national budget.

Nalalabuan lang talaga ako sa mga kumag na nagprotesta sa scheme na to.

Di ba masmadali para sa kanila ang magbayad na lang sa bangko kesa sa kumpiskahin pa ang lisensya nila at tubusin sa mga redemption offices.

Labo talaga ng mga jeepney drivers kahit kelan. Nakakainis din sila katabi sa pila nung tinubos ko ung lisensya ko sa MMDA office..hahaha That was wayback 2002 pa ata!

kapag may kakilala kayo sa MMDA madali lang un..binigyan ako ng tito ko ng ID niya ipapakita ko kung sakali mahuli ako..so far effective naman siya..natatawa nalang MMDA officer at sinasabi sakin na sabihin ko nalang daw sa tito ko na nahuli ako...hehehe...lusot na ako....bad girl....
