its a Euro2 compliant engine of the 2007 Isuzu Crosswinds...

    ENGINE
    Type of Fuel Diesel Diesel
    Model 4JA1-L EURO 2
    Direct Injection
    Displacement 2.5 liters
Fuel System Air Optimizer Low Charge TURBO
    Fuel Tank Capacity 55 liters
    Maximum Output (JIS) PS / rpm 85 / 3,900
    Maximum Torque (JIS) kg.m / rpm 18.9 / 2,000

well, not much change in the output except that (prolly) it's much cleaner.

Following global standards, the engine is considered slow as dead meat.

Pero test one yourself. Sa akin ok naman ang takbo ng Crosswind.

To answer the sole question on speed... nope. The a/t turbo version has around 1-2hp more then the m/t version Xwind.

Low charge turbo means low boost or low pressure.

This is put on the AT Crosswinds to give them more midrange torque and power (not top end, the extra horse is just a bonus) than the MT Crosswinds. And they need it, the AT box is kinda sluggish.

That said, even with the turbo, an AT Crosswind is probably the slowest creature on Earth... ...by the time the MT Crosswind gets to 100 km/h (in about half a minute or so), the AT Crosswind is still trying to get out of first gear.

I would like to swap the turbo into my MT Crosswind, though...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
