for me, genuine leather pa rin, then papalagyan ko ng fabric na seat cover kung kinakailangan for my kids' sake. better kung may child seat, for better sake of your kids. there's a reason why mas mahal ang leather option sa mga sasakyan...
unless you plan to have the van as another bedroom ng bahay nyo... (joke!)

Nag inquire ako kay BoyC, ok daw ang Velvet. Same material as the original seats. Medyo mas mahal ng konti sa Synthetic leather (+500). Pero sabi nila di daw mainit, and washable.

for me, i find leatherette, the best combination of the nice clean leather look, and the dirt resistant and easy to maintain properties of cloth. i use my pajero for offroad, load it with stocks and my 2 dogs, husky and a rottweiler, and so far still looks new.

Why don't you just use neoprene seatcovers? It's the same material used for wet suits, it's easy to clean and water resistant without the being hot when exposed to sunlight like leather.

Whichever you choose, it won't really matter too much, but I would suggest avoiding synthetic leather seat covers. Those are essentially plastic wrappers on your seats and your skin won't be able to breathe.
For me, genuine leather is much more comfortable and looks much better. It's hot when it's been parked under the sun for some time, but a few minutes of airconditioning and it's down to a comfortable temperature. Real leather allows your skin to breathe

Never liked leather seats.
Sa mga leather seats only....nag lagay pa ako ng fabric seat covers.
