alam ko karamihan meron. basta pag nalubak ka tapos parang may "tok" usually worn na ball joint/s mo. usually, kasi marami ring source ng ingay.
Ball joints hold the "steering knucke" in double wishbone suspension systems, like in pajeros.

Iba sa Patrols boybi, we use center link with ball joint ends that are welded together para sa steering. Eto yung connected sa steering box. Pero meron tayong adjustable tie rod ends which helps in aligning both front wheels and steering same as with other vehicles.

sadya bang mas matibay ang ball joints ng patrol and other SUVs? hindi ko kasi nagagawa sa iba namin sasakyan yung pinaggagawa ko sa patrol, like driving fast at rough roads. yung sa patrol (2 yrs na) wala pa naman sira. yung sa mga naging cars namin, pagkakaalala ko, less than 3 yrs na maingat sa rough roads, nagkakaproblem na.

Di naman sa matibay, may nasisira rin pag madalas sa extremes ang usage. If you read some Aussie 4WD magazines, you should see how they use their SUVs. Manliliit ka at manghihinayang. I guess that's how SUVs earned its respect.
