December 4th, 2007 02:50 AM #1Hello po. May problem po yung van namin Liteace (japan, 2C-T engine) sa usok nya. Malakas magusok.

suggestion lang sir if you could maybe stretch your budget a bit, and if not sure on the parts availability and the work of the mekaniko, might as well buy a surplus 2C-T engine, at least mas ok un, den ung existing engine mo eh pwede mo ipagbili or pagkukuhanan ng spare parts mo .
we made a mistake with our previous hi ace, nagpa overhaul din but it did not turn out good (reason for overhauling is mausok din although may pwersa pa sya)(siguro pasaway din mekaniko)
parang mas may peace of mind kse na buo ung engine na bibilhin
sana pala bumili na lng kami ng surplus engine that time
base dyan sa listahan aabot more or less 45 thousand ung magagastos mo

Gumamit ng compression tester? Wet? Dry?
My suggestion is isa isa lang ang tirahin ninyo. Do the Turbo first. Pag sira pa rin do a top overhaul then pag sira pa rin general overhaul. Just set aside the C. head and turbo kasi tapos na siya. keep it in a dry safe place cover it properly!!Concentrate on the block and components. Just a suggestion bro, Goodluck.

Pinalitan yung nozzle.
Inayos yung injection pump (calibrate ba ito?)

Dry is the reading of the actual compression.
When you squirt oil to c. chamber through the glow plug or spark plug and then check the compression this what they call wet. When compression increases considerable in this test your piston ring or even liner needs replacement= major overhaul. If no increase is noted valves, valve seals, valve seats, gasket or c.head ang problem or = top overhaul
Choice I would have made as well.
