    yup wag na gamitin ang 4x4 pag papunta pa lang sa baguio. Kaya na ito ng 4x2. Baka mas magastos ka pa sa gas pag nag 4x4 mode ka.
    Pero mas mabilis ang acceleration when in 4x4 mode. Yun mga kasabay ko puro naka 4x4 tapos naka turbo/intercooler pa kaya naiiwan ako>(frontier 4x2)< pero kaya naman humabol.
    May natutunan ako technique para mapabilis ang diesel na sasakyan hehe

    balak ko din umakyat ng baguio using a delica eh. But first papalitan ko muna mga brakes ko para sure, and change all the liquids and oil. Yung paakyat i guess oks lang, worry ko yung pababa kasi nga matic unlike manual controlled mo yung gearing. So pababa OD off tapos nasa 2 o OD on tapos nasa L. Ano ba ang proper?

    OT ; san ba nakakabili nung emergency repair kit for tires? Pwede ba yan kahit sa mga AT tires? Thanks.

    Dehins ko alam bro kung pwede sa AT tyres. Pero, if you look at the packaging, pwede sya. Sa Concorde ko nabili 'yung sa 'kin. Pwede din yung spray-based. Johnson (or is it jensen?) ang may gawa. Ang gamit nun, kapag na-flat ka, remove the valve (pito), place the nozzle of the canister dun sa airway then empty the contents. Replace the valve and blow some air inside your tyre. This fix is good up to 100 km, pero it would be prudent na kapag nakikita ka ng next vulcanizing shop, pa-repair mo na yung flat mo. 'Nga pala, as one of the gentlemen tsikoteer mentioned in another thread, kailangan linisin yung insides nung flat bago i-vulcate (assuming you used the spray-based quick repair).

    Ah ok gets ko na, so dapat talaga may mini air pump ka in conjunction with this repair kit para swak. Kaya kayang inflate nung mga cheapo air pump (meron na ako neto eh ) yung gulong ?(kung di interior oks lang)

    Depende sa PSI rating nung mini-pump mo. Sa radials sa kotse, mga 750psi pwede na. Pero sa A/T tyres, mga 1000-1500 psi. Dehins pwede yung mg tig-500psi. Masisira lang yung mini-pump.

    Goodluck bro sa byahe sa baguio at sagada. handa mo na lang sasakyan at katawan nyo sa sobrang tagtag ng byahe pauntang sagada. Rough road ang daan pag malapitka na sa sagada, mga 3hrs na rough rd., bale mga 5hrs lahat from Baguio via Hanselma H-way. Pauwi ng Manila better dumaan k na lang sa Bontoc-Banawe-NuevaVizcaya Route, mas maganda ganda ng konti ang daan.

    [QUOTE=OT:
    Honestly, hindi ba talaga kaya ng 4x2 coming from Baguio to Sagada? Let's say mga AUV?[/QUOTE]

    kayang kaya ng 4x2 from baguio to sagada. advantage lang 4x4 going to sagada if its raining and the road is wet, kasi when you reach the mt. province portion of the road na, it's 95% unpaved so if its raining you'll be driving in mud.... literally.

    Is this the proper way or should I leave the AT alone and just use the breaks to control my speed...? ok na ata mapudpod breaks ko than gastado ang tranny dba?

    thanks
    yes you can leave ur gear on D and just use your brake to control your descent, however this is not advisable. if you use your brake too often on downhill drive, your brake pads will heat up and you will slowly loose stopping power on your brake. in severe casis, you might actually loose brake power completely. So down shift when you go downhill to assist your brake. this is true for M/T or A/T. Don't worry about over revving your engine or stressing out your A/T gear as A/T are designed to shift higher (e.g. from 2 to D) once it senses unusually high rev on certain gear. hope this helps.
