Freeman::: In your most viable opinion, do I need to re-gear? One more thing, is it still instock?

    Ungas,

If you need your vehicle to accelerate faster, if you need it to climb better, and if you do not mind a fuel consumption increase of about 15%. Then go for it.

The last set I had is long gone. I'll ask if these are available again.

My bet is on a lower value between 3.375 to at the most 4.11. Let's both be present at the actual count. :D

    Ungas,

I did try to verify what we've been all pondering about... Anyway, most Phil spec Nissan Patrols equipped with the TD42 and manual transmission did come with 4.111 gears but definitely not 3.375. The 4.56 ratio may have been used in other markets.

Thanks for the added info johnqpublic318. Anyway I'm planning to drop by Freeman's shop in the following days before the Aug.9 Offroad Clinic and have it counted there. :D

you look for a surplus 4.56 gears na lang if you cant find any new ones. this what most off roaders here do to their LC's. just keep your orig ones, some they buy the whole axle set so that they will have spares, maybe you can find one with the anti-roll bar in it that is auto disconnect pa. it will cost you the same more or less to buy new gears against the whole axle. how much more is the question! joke lang.

ARB::: There's nothing more to it, hahaha! I might just have to live with this pair of gears I'm using now. Mahirap itong bisyong pinasok natin, magastos! :D

kimpOy::: Alam ko yung Gen I naming 4x2 4.56 gear ratio. Di ko lang sure kung pinalitan nila pag 4x4 version.
