As far as I know, pickups are classified as LCVs or Light Commercial Vehicles. So kahit 4X4 or 4X2 yan, mababa lang or halos walang excise tax.
Of course, yung new law on excise tax which will (might?) take effect late this year will remove that excemption dahil value based na ang computation ng tax kahit anong klaseng vehicle man yan.

tulad ni ICB, buti na lang nakabili na kami ng trooper...
pero di pa raw tumataas ang presyo nito... wala pa raw advise sa planta...

1M to 1.9M vehicles will be taxed 100%
but this isnt final yet.......
