I mean paano sya nag-on saka off? sa speed ba or sa rpm naka-base yun trigger nya?

The turbo is driven by exhaust gases. Para itong propeller. One end catches the exhaust gases. Kapag umikot ito, it will spin a turbine which in turn will suck in more air. Hindi siya on-off, as long as may exhaust na lumalabas, your turbo is working. However, you do need a certain amount of exhaust para maramdaman mo ang turbo effect. So in essence, sa rpm based ang turbo effect.

The turbo in my ride feels spooled up around 2,500 rpm. So if I keep my revs above it, maganda ang power delivery since I won't have to wait for the turbos to go back up to speed.
