Pag hindi mo sinunod yung break-in period mo, malamang sa may mapwersa na parts which would render your engine's ability to perform like it was made to.
Other would suggest that you don't run aburpt speeds, no sudden acceleration and engine brakes should not be practiced. You can run it on highways provided that you monitor your speed like kimpOy pointed out. Don't run the engine on long steady speed, variation in speed would help; ie: 60-80, 40-60, 70-50, so on and so forth. Avoid long idle time, if you have to wait for someone, turn off the engine. Towing and extra heavy loads are not allowed. Iwasan mo yung manggigil sa silinyador, wag biglang arangkada at biglang hinto. Drive softly. Don't rev up to the redline district, shift as early as possible but not to the point that there's no momentum for other gears. Lastly, drive like there is a fresh egg in between your foot and the fuel pedal.
