November 22nd, 2005 04:04 PM #73How about mastercraft AT tires? anybody have experience on these tires?
about the BFG AT KO, how much are they now? Considering how long they wear out, is it value for money even if its priced higher than its counterparts?

Cooper is a proven brand in Australia though I think sa U.S. ito gawa. Ewan ko lang dito sa atin. The market still prefers more popular tires like Dunlop, Yokohama, BFG, etc.

sa US nga eto gawa sir Otep. yun kasi gamit sa bighorn namin (265/75R16). naghahanap ako ng review nito dito sa tsikot at sa 4x4ph forum pero wala akong nakita na review. yung current price nya base from ryco nasa P4975. matibay din kaya eto considering the road/climate condition sa atin?

April 4th, 2007 02:18 AM #78Just would like to revive this thread regarding AT tires.
I upgraded to Dunlop Grandtrek AT2 265/70/16 on my Trooper in 2002. It was only after 40,000 kms after this March 2007 that I had to change to a new set. Not bad after using for five years! Very good, quite ride. Definitely better than the Yokohama Geolandar. So I bought the exact same brand and specs (Grandtrek AT2) last month. The first set would probably have lasted me another year if only I followed a regular and consistent tire rotation sked.
As a sidebar, I just bought last week a new set of Mastercraft Courser LT 285/75/16 for GU Patrol. Got this 33 incher (stock for GU Patrol is only 31") as am planning to get Iron Man + Rancho 9000 combo upgrade this week. So far, the Mastercraft is performing well in terms of ride comfort and handling. Big plus is the aggressive tread pattern, the best I've seen so far among the AT models in the market. Looks like the Mastercraft LT is a new model as reviews are hard to come by on the web. From what the dealer said, the LT model is the newer Courser AT tire model (Mastercraft Courser is made by Cooper USA).

Hi All
I can recommend BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KOs they are good tires and I'm happy with them.
From what I hear, Coopers are also good.
If you need a source for both, I can recommend a guy based in Malabon who also carries both but sells them cheaper than Ryco.
Let me know
By the way, I don't get commish or anything. Am just happy with his service and customer service.
