October 18th, 2003 10:43 AM #56MT's are mud terrains, medyo iba ang orientation dito sir gary,
muds are morea t home at... muds siyempre, so compromise yung riding comfort, medyo maingay sa daan and longer braking distance, now kung seasonal off roader ka stick to All terrains,
but if you live kung saan maraming putik and lahar go with muds.
MT's are generally expensive than AT's
but sometimes some dealers would like to get rid of their slow moving mud tires for a low price.

Kung 70%-30% onroad-offroad ratio ang gamit ng sasakyan, better get an All Terrain rubber. Now, if the ratio is 50:50 mild mud tread patttern would be more suited. As boss [b]kimpOy[/] mentioned, this will be more expensive than all terrains. Price range is around 6K-8K per tire. Kung deeper lugs and extreme mud tires like Simex and Mickey Thompsons, 10k-20k per tire.

Go for BFG!
Long Trail T/A vs. All Terrain T/A (not sure kung KO)
Thread Wear - 10 / 6
Wet Traction - 10 / 7
Quiet Ride - 10 / 7
Handling - 8 / 6
Mud traction - 6 / 9
sidewalls- 2 ply/3 ply
Porma - 7/9.5
Php 4,620/6,440
0(poor)>>>10(best)
What do you think? Can I play with you guys on Long Trail tyres, say Hi Peak? Concern ko sa AT is thread wear, traction and price.
Got these data from BFG website.
Of course anyone can comment.Last edited by garyq; October 19th, 2003 at 12:02 AM.
