May 14th, 2004 06:45 PM #24same question as KCboy, how will you know when you have to replace your shocks??
Lately kasi pag inuuga ko ang front end ng pajero ( wala ako kasama chicks sa loob ha) may squeaking sound from the front left tire.
Sira na kaya shocks ko?

Busted shocks does not produce squeaking sound. Dried up bushing will cause it to squeak.
With your own weight, dip one corner of your vehicle. It should bounce back up to its normal position. Pag nagdalawang bounce bago bumalik sa normal position, sign of weak shocks. Pag umabot sa 4 bounce, busted shocks na. Or you can visually inspect the shaft rod for excess oil.

Pag ball joint ang cause, usual sound ay lagatok pagkadaan sa lubak. Naglalagatukan ang parts, indicating that the ball joint is loose and may need regreasing or worse, replacement.
