i don't know sirs. to some, ok yung merong stepboard, pero para sa akin mas ok yung wala. kasi sasayad lang nang sasayad yan lalo kapag malubak at mabato. saka isa pa, gastos lang yan, di rin naman nagagamit.

For the lold model pick-ups where the ground clearance of the 4x2 is lower than the 4x4, ok lang ang wala. However for the new generation lineup like the dmax and the trekker 4x2, mas ok for me ang may stepboards. Kawawa mom ko pag sumasakay.

July 13th, 2005 10:35 PM #35i never use my side stepboard. I use it only when cleaning the roof of my pick-up. Mas gusto ko nga walang side stepboard. May guso ba bumili sa inyo hehe

my baby is always complaining na nahihirapan sya umakyat sa hilux. sabi nya bakit walang apakan sa side katulad ng sa fortuner ang pickup... natawa na lang ako kasi sya lang ata gumagamit ng stepboard ng sasakyan namin. kaya this week papalagyan ko na ang hilux namin.

kung may kids at di ka naman offroader, ok lang stepboard.. well protection nalang din sa side-sills ng pick-up din..

By the way, meron bang generic rubber stepsills for pickup. Not a fan of those chrome-plated ones.
Choice I would have made as well.:nod:
