Im planning to upgrade to size 16s.

Kung meron sayad, Im cranking the torsion bars. Nakakabit ngayon ay 235x75xR15.

    Any inputs?
    Salamat!

I think malaki and mabigat...pang patrol na kasi ang size. 245 70 16 will be the best.

Pede, tried it, but you need to adjust the stopper sa front kasi sasayad sa loob.

    Ang question ko ay BAKIT?!?

The 265 70 R16 is barely an inch taller than the 245 70 R16 (mas wider lang ito but not too tall)...halos 30 inch and outside diameter ng 265 70 R16 (dunlop na AT) yung bridgestone na 245 70 R16 is 29 inches plus ang outside diameter....I think your current 235 75 R15 is nearly 29 inches na din ang OD.

Ang pangit sa option na gusto mo sobra mahal ng R16 na mga gulong compared to the R15's....why not just go for a wider (245 perhaps) tire and maintain the 75 aspect ration and R15 for the rims.

The cheapest 265 70 R16 is P6000 plus (bridgestone and yokohama) tapos ang korny ng mga thread design nito kasi AT lang....walang MT. Whereas R15's have more design and options available at almost all brand have this.

Sa Patrol mang-gagaling yun Grandtrek AT2. 80-85% pa daw thread, 5 pcs for 10k. OK ba yun price?

How much are you selling them?

Mukhang kailangan ko nga tanggalin yun bolt stopper. Thanks sa input sir! Hindi ba naapektuhan ang acceleration when you changed to the bigger tires?

Yes sir, yung pic above is the current 15" rim I have for sale. I got it last year for 20K. 15x7 AMS BAJA polished alloy. PM mo ko sir for your offer. Mas OK kung set na including the tires. Tires are 85-90% pa ang tread.

kung less than 2 inches ang increase the OD hindi obvious ang epekto sa speed...pero I did noticed that when I was using a 2.7S (na 195R14 ang gulong) eh ang bilis nito sa acceleration and top speed (170kph without hesitation)...whereas sa 2.7E (parang 235/70/R15 ang stock nito) mas mabagal ang arangkada and topspeed was 160kph....

no budget pa sir sa rims...just doing "window" shopping.

265x70xR16 on 4x2 Frontier?
