    No doubt na malakas ang Hi-lux (160+hp) kasi CRDi na ito vs the non CRDi ng DMAX (130hp) but these newer generation pick-ups has its edge over the older ones when it comes to power kaya malabo na manalo mga jeepneys, and yes they can give a good fight in terms of acceleration vs the older sedans because of the abundant torque at low rpms.

    I think the plus factor here is the durability of the rig and its diesel engines and the fuel efficiency- My Dmax AT does 9-10km/l on pure city driving.

    planning to buy a new diesel engine, confuse on so many brands, everest is too big for me, isuzu and innova (I need earplugs hehe), tahimik ang tucson. Any suggestion will be a big help
