sa mt. samat bataan as mentioned by x-wind. dun sa dambana ng kagitingan. very steep zigzag road going up, breath-taking view of luzon pag dating sa taas.
pros: the northern luzon based comrades can come, boybi, kimps, olive drab, jeepcruizer etc. sila na rin ang mag-host and sponsor :D :D :drool:

cons: long drive... about 3 hrs(?) from metro manila. hirap din umuwi via NLEX pag dating ng gabi. Unless you go to subic by nightfall.

or... sa lucban quezon. dun sa floating bamboo raft restaurant or something like that. again, zigzag roads. not much view though.
pros: ???
cons: malayo din. baka di ulit makasama mga NLB (northern luzon boys).

PROS: Masarap ang pagkain...ang kumain.....ang hangin....at uminom!

Take the Laguna Route. Ginagawa pa ata yung National Highway sa Candelaria. Etc.

korek ka jan! actually, the more challenging route is via the Tanay-Pililla route, then Pagsanjan, onwards to Cavinti then Louisiana Laguna, then yun na... malapit na sa Lucban Quezon. I've driven through it. mostly asphalt roads, good condition naman. Pwede din sumilip sa Lake Caliraya kung gusto nyo.
I'd say this is about 2-3 hrs drive from Antipolo.

Personally, I'd prefer Mt. Samat, pasahero lang kasi ako non when I went there. We were riding an '01 model Toyota Grandia diesel version- bilib ako. lakas humatak. ang tagtag nga lang ng sa rear seats. Naalog utak ko sa byahe. :freak: :D

dyan din ako sir mt. samat then diretso sa ocean adventure sa subic hehehe lakad yata ng kids yun hanap ko ahhhh.........
last summer ko inakyat yun mt samat 8 big men including gamit inakyat yun ng x wind ko bitin pa sya. may helipad dun sa taas para sa parking.ok sa loob ng holy cross may elevator (may bayad lang) sa loob, para ramdam ko noon matutumba yun cross then yun tao sa baba parang langam na lang. dun din yun mga ginamit ng mga pilipino para ipagtangol ang bayan sa mga sakang.

naayos na pala yung elevator. nung pumunta kami 2 years ago, sira ang elevator. ayaw nila magpaakyat thru the stair well, baka daw merong atakihin sa puso :D :freak: may bayad pa rin ba yung pag gamit ng C.R. nila? :lol:

musta road condition going there? masama kondisyon ng kalsada non, merong road construction before you get to mt. samat, tapos marami na ring potholes yung asphalt road going up mt. samat.
