Is it just me or is there mismanagement in terms of the issuance of operating franchises for all those PUVs?

Ang problema kasi, usually pag dumadami yung demand for public transport, all they do is increase the existing fleet of PUVs. So kung dati 100 yung nagcocommute, tas may 30 tricycles, nung naging 1000, naging 300 yung tricycles. I think they should see the bigger picture and focus on revamping the transportation structure as a whole to serve the commuting public better instead of just adding more and more vehicles.

If this is unachievable (factoring in all the kurakot happening to our taxes), then at least yung mga current na bumabiyahe piliting magkadisiplina through the proper implementation of the law. Kunwari yung sa ilalim ng EDSA-Shaw flyover. Talagang titigil yung mga jeep sa intersection kahit go yung stoplight para magpuno ng pasahero, causing inconvenience to all other vehicles. Same thing with the buses. Pag-akyat ng crossing akala mo sobrang traffic. Pag nalagpasan mo yung mga bus na 10 years bago gumalaw, ang luwag pala ng daan. Worst of all lahat 'to nakikita nung mga MMDA na more often than not pinapalagpas lang nila.

Di ba iyan yung reason why there is a traffic law against stainless jeeps? The glare of the sun against the shiny stainless body can blind other drivers and cause accidents.
