Windshield Wiper

bakit ganun yung windshield wiper ko, kapag tag-ulan at maambon, hindi pwedeng hindi gagaspang ang pahid kapag tumagal-tagal. ano kaya ang problema nun? i-tried changing the rubber blades, pero pag-tumagal, ganun pa din. help. thanks!

do you park in areas exposed to sunlight? if yes, malamang that's reason why.

Wiper blades do get fried by the windshield. Once rubber loses its elasticity, obviously, hindi na maganda ang hagod sa glass

If you want, you can invest in those cheap "wiper-ups". I had those in my previous car and im satisfied with their performance (but not the looks hehe).

I dont need them anymore coz i always park in a shaded place.

Theory number 2 is madumi na ang winshield mo. Better buy some "Strip It" and start rubbing away at your windshield. (Or pagawa mo kay theveed)

also kailangan mo rin talagang linisin maigi yung rubber blades, mapupuna mo na bago mo ito malinis ng maigi through pagpunas e laging may dumi ka pa ring makikita sa basahan if you'll gonna use one. Suggest ko lang na gumamit ka ng papel at ito ang ipanlinis mo sa iyong wiper blades, mas sa-id ang linis kesa basahan ang gamit.

i agree w/ pajerokid, u may raise up ur wipers off the windshield pag mae-expose sa sunlight when parking...

nope. i don't expose my ride really. even yung dmax ganun ang problema, choppy ang wiper. baka sa windshield nga yun.

since nasa usapang wiper na rin. i just want to ask san nakakabibili ng rubber/silicone hose ng windshield washer? yung tube na nagdadala ng water sa washers. may portion kasi na nabutas(kagat ng daga) mga 1 feet lang ang kailangan. :D

ok thanks. medyo mahal yung bosh tropical e. pero balak ko na ring bumili, naunahan lang ako ni erpat. biro mo ba naman, nilagyan ng "type r" n wiper. magaan siya pero ang himutok ko lang since my aim is to keep the car as stock as possible, ito ang nakasira sa objective ko. hehehe, baka pag nakakuha na ako ng bosch ibalik ko yung oem assembly. =>

usually yung Bosch 501 para sa Japanese compact sedans nasa 550-600

Try nyo Bosch 502 kung kasya.. mas mura yun around 450. yung bosch 502 19"/20" yata yun.. yung Bosch 501 18"/20"

Thanks for the reply, Supierreman. But please pardon my ignorance. Where may I be able to buy these Bosch Tropical wipers? Kailangan ba akong pumunta sa Banawe? Or would a store like Concorde have them?

Bumili rin ako niyan from 16, 18, 20 na size 199.00 lang...Kaya bumili erpat mo ng wiper na yan...hehehe

.. yung sa Hans tools sa shangrila dati nagsale sila nung Bosch 502.

Yung nabilhan ko noon sa transhow pa yung Bosch booth kaso nga alng layo ng main shop nila sa amin .. yung Warren Automotive sa may Binondo sa Benavidez st.

sulit na yung bosch. One year na sa akin no skipping kahit di ako gumagamit ng wiper stand. under the sun pa parking ko. every year ako palit. These are better than what Honda sells at the casa na rebranded NWB

wiper rubber naturally degrades over time and through weathering. that's why the automakers recommend replacement every 1-2 years

parking in the shade and keeping your windshield clean help (the latter is a must-do anyway), but you should still change the wiper blades regularly.

ang lakas pa naman ng ulan sa atin - pretty dangerous to be out there and not be able to see properly

gastos lang yung bosch na yun buy one of those 129 pesos a pair from ace hardware or any workshop its as good as those expensive tropical rubber and NWB brands no need to spend good money!!!
