November 21st, 2007 09:08 AM #1Hello chiefs, any idea on the difference of the two? Is the servo located inside the IACV or is it the other way around? How much does it cost to replace the servo of a Ford lynx 99? A mechanic said I have to replace the servo. Another mechanic said i have to replace the IACV. Thanks in advance for your enlightenment.

ang intindi ko pareho lang yan. magkaiba lang ang tawag/pangalan.
servo = mitsus and others
iacv = hondas
they perform the same function sa idling ng makina. magkakaiba sila ng itsura.

Mgs Sirs, Correct me if I am wrong but sa pagkakaintindi ko the IACV is or EFI vehicles, servos for carburated types. Both are controlling the air fuel ratio.

Yup, servo and IACV are one and the same. Although mas ginagamit ang term na servo for Mitsu cars.
