Di naman sobra yung problem sa brackets... adjust the brackets on the seat itself, or have an adapter between seat and mount made. It might be useful if we can see an illustration or photo of her driving position. Also, what shoes does she wear? I've found different shoe heights helps in situations like this. That's why a lot of lady drivers have a spare set in the car.

Adjust seat position first.
If you will put in a new seat, use existing rails and brackets. Drill holes in new seat, not on car.

Don't forget to e-mail her about shoe height... I've found that certain shoes also make my knees ache while others actually make driving more comfortable. Good luck!
