I took my newly acquired second hand car for its first highway run, to EK and back home. I just had it realigned, caster and camber corrected on all 4 wheels, done at servitek. i just noticed a slight vibration that built up, starting at 110 kph. I can feel it through the steering wheel. I got to 120kph before deciding not to go further.

If I can discount the possibility of bad alignment (had this done 2 weeks ago lang), and the servitek people say there's nothing wrong with any of my underchassis and suspension components (except for a bad stabilizer link at the left side), what could be causing the vibration?

my personal guess is wheel balancing. what do you guys think?

Most probably you need to balance all four tires. I had the same problem before. Vibration in the steering wheel started at around 120-130 kph. After having all tires balanced, smooth sailing up to 150 kph.

since wala diperensya ang underchasis (including tie rods?), wheel balancing ka muna. then while the wheel is on the machine, inspect mo na din baka may bukol yung gulong mo. or uneven tyre wear.

sounds like wheel balancing is needed

also check if your tires are still good. It's possible that the thread of the tire might have beome loose... happened to me before.

Since magpapa balance ka na ng 4 wheels you might want to consider rotation of tires....just my two cents

nyahaha! maalat ba? seriously, from my experience balancing of your front wheels should do the trick. or you can try rotating your rear wheels to the front...
