pipol,
tapos if ever na mag replace ako, can you recommend a good brand. my ride is a 97VTI... and lastly, advisable pa isang gulong lang ang pareplace ng bearing if ever sira na nga?
txs mga peeps.....

Are you definitely sure it's coming from the bearing and not the tire itself?
Try to swap front-rear tires first and monitor its condition. If sound still persists, front end bearings can easily be repacked with grease. But for longer run and less down time, I would suggest that a change is inevitable.

txs master ungas,
i'm not really sure if its the bearing! but this same thing happnd kasi sa gli ng officemate ko, first mahina lang ugong then lumala topos ng pacheck nya, durog na daw bearing nya!
but i'll try to swap my tires and see what happens.... e kung sa gulong ang sira, ano kaya possibling tama nito? hindi balanse yung gulong ko? kasi bago pa naman yung tires ko! mag wa-one year palang... anu kaya?

I've read some responses from other threads that tires are sometimes the culprit for the humming sound, especially Goodyear brand with a specific model.

i'm using goodyear NCT3, which is notorios among tsikoteers na talagang maingay... (based on tire related posts ive read) pero kung dun ang tama bakit kaya ngayun ko lang na-notice yung ugong sound!

Maybe the noise was there and you weren't paying that much attention or the stereo playback was keeping your hearing senses busy. Until an officemate pointed out some noise from his wheel that made you checked your car.

It's the tread of Goodyear that's causing it to make unwanted noise. No other way out but to change tires.
alas, much as we might want to rely on our noses, we may not use our noses to do emissions...
