    Guys, what is the best accepted interval in changing transaxle oil?

    Depends on the vehicle. On my Kia it was every 40k, I think.

    as often as you can afford is the best rule of thumb. but 40k kms is an acceptable duration.

    On most vehicles, yes. Also known as differential oil.
