I think our 1.4at fiesta totope din using XCS and unleaded 91 ron gas, maririning mo siya sa second gear going to third gear 1500-1900rpm... Anlakas ngtope sa XCS...
Yesterday halos nag empty ako inubos ko XCS sa tank ng sasakyan then gas up UNIOIL Quntum Euro IV as experiment... Wooha after 40 km city driving humina tope, minsan wala na talaga..
Normal lang light tope? Hindi ba harmful sa mechanism ng makina mga sir? ..

February 28th, 2014 05:39 PM #36i have the same problem may clicking noise din pag nag pedal ka ng gas from gear to 2nd gear , mine is Toyota Vios 1.5GAT , only happens when acceleration or revving . pag 40-60 na yung takbo or pag stick ka ng naka apak sa gas wala na yung tunog same noise dun sa video na pinost (page 1 )
Kahit naka aircon rinig parin pag nag rerev ako eh , at parang mas malakas siya mag noise pag naka aircon ako , until now im still experiencing the problem , im using Petron XCS for almost 2 months na dahil yun din naman ang gamit nung prev owner ng car

Nag caltex gold na lang ako, nawala yung knocking or pinging sound.

November 8th, 2014 09:40 AM #39well... the recording isn't exactly high fidelity, and my audio system ain't nowhere near hi-fi...
it MIGHT be engine ping..
ask the dealer/mechanic, if it's allowed in your particular model..
also, you might try shifting to a higher octane fuel, and see it the noise persists..
