    Hello,

    Anyone encountered the same problem?

For gasoline car IMO is normal coz cold start nga po,malamig pa engine and pag uminit na eventually wala na rin yung smoke.Black smoke naman po kasi for diesel if may problem.

i think you are referring to water vapor. yun din akala ko nung una pero un sakin iba, un parang blow by engine sya pag bumuga parang pugon eh

Its possible that oil can enter the combustion chamber at starts ups because walang pang heat and pressure to push the piston rings against the cylinder walls. Parang what happens to firecrackers pag suppot. While the engine gets older a tight seal loosens and eventuially leads to blow by. Remember also that cold engine burns richer fuel to attain NOT then leans when it does.

bluish smoke means burning oil. could be a busted valve seal or worse piston rings na busted na.

    Baloney!
Well, not a bad idea also to drain and clean the gas tank to remove water or any other residue that accumilated in time that caused harmful to engine. Anyway, water from the tailpipe is a normal condition. One of the byproducts of the catalytic converter process is, transforming harmful vapors into.....not so harmful vapors. One of those is water vapor, the vapor will condense on the exhaust pipe walls and accumulate inside it. If you notice, there is a hole in the bottom of the muffler to allow the trapped water to escape and it will also drip from your tailpipe once you start your car.

white smoke = condensate that is accumulated in the exhaust that vaporizes again once hot air flows through. I think this happens because the engine cools slower thus cold air move thru the exhaust system thru convection. During the process, some water vapor is trapped inside the exhaust system and then expelled when the engine is running. Just my opinion

Thick white smoke during cold start?
