may attached akong pics, showing yung temp. sending unit, na nakabolt sa cylinder head..di yun ang katanungan ko, yung other pics-->na nakabolt sa block, may 2 terminal siya.. para saan kaya yun?(question 1)
plus while i was changing the sending unit kahapon, napansin ko natunaw ang balat ng wire sa isang harness, nung pinacheck ko, sabi ng electrician "ground" wire daw yun (white w/ black stipe ung wire).. i suspect na uminit ng sobra yung line na yun..kaya natunaw ang isulation...well, ok na yun, napagawa ko na.
ang probable cause daw nun sabi ng electrican ko, nagkulang ng grounding.. kasi may isang grounding-wire na naputol from the engine to the body.
(question 2)is it posible pag nagkulang ng major ground wire, maaring dumaan ang (-) current sa mga smaller ground wires na dahilan para uminit ng sobra yung mga maliliit na linya na yun?
(question 3) is there an effect kung kulang ang grounding? (example yung akin, matagal ko na alam na putol yung ground na yun, di ko pinapakabit kasi "ground" lang naman daw yun...) how about kung sobrahan ko ng grounding points ang liteace ko, (from battery-body-engine-tranny-body(front)-body(middle)-body(rear))

question 1. hindi kaya oil pressure sending unit yun?
question 2. kahit completo grounding wire mo, dadaan at dadaan pa rin ang kuryente sa maliliit na wires. overloaded sya and yes possible na masunog. nasusunog din ang wire kapag loose ang connection or there is damage in the wire causing the resistance to increase.
question 3. pag kulang ang grounding mahina ang kuryente, maraming effect yan, from hardstart to erratic idling to namamatayan. hindi mo naman kailangan sobrahan, just put it back to stock.
usually its negative to chassis to engine block. from engine block to chassis again and from transmission to chassis again.
pinalitan na din kahapon, yung naputol na main grounding wire, pero wala ko mabili #8, #10 lang ginawa nalang namin, 3-wires pinagsama na namin..
hmm, baka nga yun talaga ang cause ng mis-start(di nya iistart ang makina talaga hangang palamiging ko siya) ng liteace kung mainit na....
abt sa Q1 ko-->yung pic.. pwede bang oil pressure senging unit yun? pero disconnect ko siya, normal parin naman..kinabit ko nalang ulit, hirap kung ittest ko further(likod ng makina kasi, and liteace po,e..)
