Meron na ba naka-try ng SplitFire... Ito gamit ko ngayon and okay naman. Never been cleaned since kinabit 10,000 kms ago and still going strong. got it for 1,400/set..

    quote from the manufacturer:
Q: Why should I pay more for SplitFire Spark Plugs?
A: The key reasons: SplitFire patented split 'V' ground electrode helps deliver more complete combustion. Result: Maximum percentage of fuel is converted to combustion energy not partially burned exhaust, for performance only SplitFire can deliver.

Q: Will SplitFire Spark Plugs work with a "high performance" ignition system?
A: Yes. SplitFire Spark Plugs will work with any type of ignition system.

Q: How long will SplitFire Spark Plugs last?
A: SplitFire, Inc. guarantees that SplitFire Spark Plugs will meet or exceed your automotive or truck manufacturer's spark plug performance standards in a properly tuned automobile or truck with a non-modified engine for 36 months, regardless of mileage driven, or we will replace the spark plugs. (See our Warranty information sheet for full details of this limited warranty.)

Q: Do I need to change my timing when I put SplitFire Spark Plugs in my engine?
A: No. Use the factory specifications. If you have made modifications to your engine, you should consult the component manufacturer's specifications

You need to do a visual inspection or check your maintenance manual. If you got money to burn get an iridium plug.

base on my experience, pare-pareho lang yan bro, both used them for years already,.. the advantage of Bosch Plat lang naman is you can find them almost all oto supply shops,..as for the NGK G-Power Platinum whereas there are some or most of the shops don't carry/sell them,. in short, hard to find siya, sobrang bihira.

There are 7-8 oto supply's near my place, unfortunately none of them are selling it (yung iba, di alam kung anu yun,.then others say, wala daw ganun,.. hehe weird!). I'm looking for an NGK Plat too (G-Power), kaso I can buy them sa Banawe area pa, layo!

    cheers!!!

Spark plug? Ano yon? Glow plug lang ako

Seriously though, my dad uses Denso Iridium plugs on his SiR. Kasama na rin yung Split-Fire wires.
