starex nasira yata floater sa gas tank...

damn, yung isang araw ko lang napansin while iwas driving , nakita ko gas ko sa guage nasa empty na, then kinabahan ako, dahil before i left the house , chineck ko 3/4 pa yung meter... then first i tought thre was a gas leak , i pulled over and check whether theres a gas leak , wala naman , then pag balik ko sa car, nasa empty na , pero ndi pa rin umiilaw yung (the one that lights pag sa empty na but meron pa din extra 10 liters yaya)...so question is
-is there any possibility na may fuse then bumigay lang kaya palagi na nasa empty, pero car is still running normal? (guide ko lang ngayon yung trip meter ko)
-or nasira yung floater sa tank? car is diesel, first time ko lang naencounter...
-may possibility ba na nasira flaoter dahil madumi ang gas na naipasok nung huling beses ako nagpagas?
