Tanong ko lang kung anong effect kung pinaputulan ko lang ang springs rather than buy a lowering kit para sa pa-lowered ng auto? i mean, lowered ang look, but how about the performance and effect nito sa suspension ng auto? - pizza pie ang auto.

    remember these words...

"save some money now... pay a lot more for repairs and proper lowering springs later."

actually I cut them already.. It was just I thought about it when a friend told me that I should have not cut 'em because of the things you mentioned here. I guess it's too late (I wasn't able to log here for several days -- bad trip, naka-block and yehey sa client namin and no phone lines to use for dial-up hmp!)

Anyway, I don't have that much experience yet on seeing/feeling kung masyadong matagtag ang auto. On a straight, fine road okey naman.. so I assume so far, so good. My only indicator would be pag bumigay ang shocks (kapapalit ko lang last week nung isa just before I decided to cut 'em). So when that happens, then mali na nga.

Any suggestions kung anong magandang brand ng lowering springs (or pare-pareho lang ba ito, brands lang nagkatalo)? and saan makakabili nito? I wanted to buy them myself para alam ko.. saka pano mo malalaman kung peke or totoo?

    Thanks in advance.

    you can't miss with Eibach.
they're not too expensive, maybe 30% more than OE springs.

Anyone here knows a lowering springs for small cars? Kahit mahal ok lang sa akin...:D

Dont do it pre... i did it b4 sobra tagtag and u can't even have a normal load, sumasabit kaagad. Lowering springs costs between 8,500 to 11,000 lang pre. Sa kontng halaga pre buhay ang kapalit... hehehehe... your car won't be that stable spec. when cornering. I suggest you use a lowering spring. If you're interested in purchasing one tx me * 09178474315. 8,500 lang yan isang set.

definitely a big NO-NO!!! you'll ruin your car. stocks springs has a specified spring rate, thus reducing or even cutting the spring for vanity (porma) will only result into a harsher ride, in worst case, can cause problems later on. you can always buy aftermarket kits, just don't cut your springs...

    thanks!

rides wayyy better than stock..im still using oem springs though ndi pa ako nagpapalit..wear out ko muna bago ko palitan
