Peeps which is more effective and best for a turbocharged diesel or gasoline vehicle, a water-to-air intercooler or an air-to-air intercooler?Thanks!

June 11th, 2006 02:50 PM #2air to water is better for short spurts but unless you have a separate heat exchanger which cools down the water you'll feel it get sluggish after a while. air to air na front mount is best for 90% of situations.

air/water intercooler are usually used if there are some space/packaging limitations.

June 12th, 2006 10:54 PM #5normally pang drag since it's more effective especially if you put ice or something like that sa ic. air/water sometimes takes up more space pa than the plumbing of the fmic's since people like placing it near the throttle body, which cramps up the engine bay.
One feature they should incorporate in EVs is speed limiting based on the keyfob you hand over to...
