sorry if I have to make another thread regarding PMS. My question is I'm planning to have my Picanto for 15,000 PMS. I've called several dealers for quotes on how much will be the expected cost. Ang nakakainis jan iba iba yung quotes nila. Wheels quote was around 6k+++ depende paraw at pwedeng bumaba ang price if hindi na papalitan mga etc, etc. Sa Kia Pasay naman they only qouted for 3k+++. I said ang mura naman. Lahat ba kasama they said yes. To all Picanto owners or Getz owners? How much ba talaga ang estimate cost for 15k PMS. Nakakainis kasi mga dealers. Ang gugulo magpricing.
TIA

March 3rd, 2007 07:37 AM #2you have to understand that often pms involves inspecting a lot of parts. then depending on the results of the inspection you are required to replace different parts.
kaya hirap din to give 1 price without seeing the car.

What I do is go to the dealer, get a written quotation, countercheck with my manual and cross out all the 'add-ons' they put like fuel treatment, fuel injection cleaner, oil flushing, etc. na hindi naman called for sa owner's manual. Dami kasi nilang racket na ganyan. Hindi naman necessary pero nilalagay. Ultimo pag-hugas ng sasakyan minsan charged to client pa. Yung Toyota Otis nga they change spark plugs twice as often as the manufacturer recommended interval. Laki ng kita nila dun.
Then I instruct SA not to do anything beyond what we have agreed upon without first asking my permission.

e/oil + filter = approx.: PhP2000 depending on the type of e/oil you'll use.
so approximate na magagastos mo for 15k PMS e PhP3,000.00
