you can take your tire to any vulcanizing shop. what they will do is to patch the nick with emulsified tire tube rubber and vulcanize (cook) the rubber compound to the injury until it is cured. they usually use the same rubber material melted with gasoline or paint thinner until the rubber has turned into a paste or jelly

I would'nt advise "cooking" those tyres. Uncontrolled heat will do more harm than good. This is why cold patching is the most preferred way in re-sealing punctured tyres.

    Leave it be.

I had a similar nick on the side of my tire. And like dr. d mentioned, the inner fibers of the tire didn't show up. So I let it be.
Nagamit ko siya hanggang napudpod yung treads niya without any incidents.

I don't know if the repair shop can do that. Just like I said earlier, if you find the superficial damage a bit annoying to look at, then "reverse" the tyre (inside-out).

yes, you can. but the repairmen will ask you where you want it placed, because they don't think you need it.

OK lang yan basta walang singaw. Nitrogen air din ilagay mo para hindi tumaas ang tire pressure pag long drive.

    we can't see the tire.
but if the tire's damage is on the sidewall, but only superficial, it might still be usable. how superficial, is hard to say without pictures.
but if the damage is big enough, such that the patch flexes when the tire is manipulated, whether at the sidewall or the tread, then that tire is done for.

If you have a spare tire, its better to utilize it than taking a risk with a damaged tire
