How old your clutch lining and pressure plate? Mararamdaman mo naman yan kung mataas na yung rpm mo tapos ayaw pa rin bumatak sliding clutch na nga pero kung ayaw lang bumatak at hindi mo napapagallit ang makina ng oto mo complete tune-up lang. I had experienced it before changed lang ako ng spark plug at konting re-gap lang ok n uli.

Hi newbie here, why not bring your car to the shop for another opinion? If you happen to passby QC area, why not drop by D2H Autoworkz and look for Danny Hipolito. Maybe he can have a look at it again before you buy another ECU. You can call the shop at Tel. 4159003. Try it bro.. Salamat

true...this normally happens sa mga corolla with almost worn out belts, ang resulta nagbabago-bago ang timing. my other suspected problem is your valves. singaw barbula.. oil gets into your valve chamber. minsan this happens pero di umuusok. it definitely causes power loss, and sometimes hard starts. since your car is a corolla, you might want to check and ask for help at grupotoyota.com.ph forums. There you can get good advice regarding your car problems and they will guide you on where you could take your car to be fixed through their shared experiences. Goodluck!
