mga sir, may nakapag try na ba sa inyo ng ganitong combination? ano kya effect nito sa makina as well as sa performance? mahal kse ng belt tensioner sa casa eh. mas mahal pa sa timing belt. so, naisip kong bka pwedeng bumili nlang ng original timing belt from casa, then replacement belt tensioner nlang sa local sellers. car is a honda civic ESi... thanks in advance...

actually, walang effect. nasa sa iyo na yan if you want to use replacements.
ako nga, timing belt, water pump and tensioner eh replacement lang. mahal ang OEM.

I agree with happy_gilmore, no effect on the engine. The only difference is that the life cycle of the original is a bit longer than the replacement.

pwede naman yan. kahit nga both belts replacement ok pa din. as long as it's a good quality replacement part.

replacement tensioners are ok as long as the brand of the bearing is a good one.

Try the Gates brand the set cost around 2500 for honda civic esi, lxi, vti. it includes the belt, the tensioner bearing, the camshaft and crankshaft oil seal.
