What is it for and how is it done?

sa mga greasable part ng suspension and drivetrain yan ex. pitman, balljoints, u-joints (crossjoints), etc.

gamit nila pnuematic grease gun, tutok sa nipple (grease fittings) and fire away. yun old grease ma expel from the rubber cove and in yun new grease.

Lubrication of ball joints, splines (propshafts), spiders (U joints).
Nipple fittings are like valves equipped with ball bearing for one way entry of grease.

AFAIK this is the way of putting grease on unreachable portions of machines that shoud be greased using gun or other pneumatic greaser.

Sealed-type yata yung mga balljoints ng ibang cars pero usually sa mga dino-tech na vehicles ito. Magpapagrease ka ba ng nipple mo mazdamazda?

You have to look for the 'zerk' fittings. Then you use a grease gun (manual or pneumatic) to force grease into them.

On most newer and light duty vehicles, wala nang zerk fittings/grease nipples. Sealed type na.

Sa mga Pajero/Patrol/Land Cruiser, madami-dami pa (more than 10 ang fittings ng Pajero).

Dati it was around Php14.00/fitting at Shell Retiro.

Paano pala kung di pumapasok ang grease sa nipple? Had my steering/suspension links done at Cruven 5 months ago and last week lang, thought of having it greased pero di pumapasok sa lahat ng nipples. Wala lang kasing time ibalik dun eh.

Hi All!

Since we're on the subject, where can I buy manual grease guns?

Saw one that required a tube and is made in china from one of the big hardware stores.

But what if the grease we use doesn't come in a tube?

I was told that you can get a grease gun with a tube.

Haven't had any luck finding them.

Can you guys point me in the right direction?

It's just for DIY maintenance so pneumatic not important yet.

Paano pala kung di pumapasok ang grease sa nipple? Had my steering/suspension links done at Cruven 5 months ago and last week lang, thought of having it greased pero di pumapasok sa lahat ng nipples. Wala lang kasing time ibalik dun eh.

pereho tayo, sa tingin ko kaya ayaw pumasok ang grease kasi nag inject ng polymer sa joint kailangan lagyan ngayon ng butas yung tumigas na polymer para daanan ng grease at mukhang hindi nila ginagawa ito.

not all will have nipples and if wala keep them sealed since when sira na yung joint you just replace it anyway.
