September 23rd, 2007 02:39 PM #13Just reread your 1st post.
Check if your distributor cap and high tension wires are connected the right way. Meaning wire no 1 is connected to spark plug 1. Wire 2 to spark plug 2 and so on. Just in case nagalaw nung nasa body shop. You can also check if your high tension wires are ok using a tester. It should have a max resistance of 25,000 ohms. Latly, ok ba fuel filter mo?
These things can cause hard starting.

kapatid...dalhin mo sa mekaniko yan bago ka mapahamak. wd-40 is highly flammable, and you are using it around an area with electric spark and possible grounding. not to mention the potential bomb that is your gas tank.
experiments are all very well and good if done by someone who knows what he is doing, but don't assume you can read the internet and automatically be able to do these types of things. i hope this doesn't sound harsh - i just want you to be safe
i hope all of us members of tsikot can exercise caution when giving advice and make sure fellow members are taking the proper precautions and are giving the proper warnings, especially to new members

alas, much as we might want to rely on our noses, we may not use our noses to do emissions...
