sirs: i plan to have a muffler tip install. since my muffler is stock steel and the muffler tip is stainless... when it is welded... won't the welded portion be the source of rust?

i had mine welded as well. the installer painted the welded portion with silver acrylic in '02 and till now it's rust free

where did you had it installed? how much do muffler tips cost?

i have mine installed sa CPM muffler for around 1,100 pesos. welded na siya

i think it was P600 in '02. had mine installed at C3 along Sgt. Esguerra near A. Bonifacio. Mufflerland, Fremuff or Nodalo's has nice s/s muffler tips.
