Sa morning before I start the engine, pinipindot ko quarter to halfway yung accelerator habang click ng start (parang windows ah)
Hindi ko binobomba ng binobomba, naka press lang yung foot ko until mag start.
Pag naka start na, hihilahin ko na yung throttle ko until nasa 1K yung rpm, then I leave it like that for a minute.

November 4th, 2007 10:50 AM #12The carb bowl should normally have some gas in it (sa Toyota's kalahati sa viewing window). Pag inapakan mo ang accelerator pedal, the accelerator cable pushes a plunger which pumps the gas out of the bowl and into the jet/venturi in the carburetor's throttle body. This produces a gas spray which is sucked into the cylinders and fuels the engine.
Kapag walang gasoline sa carb bowl, your fuel pump will have to fill it first before the carb can produce a fuel spray - hence hard starting.
You should have the carburetor float adjusted if you are experiencing hard starts.
