tanong lang po...bakit po lancer ang napili nyo?

the company where i am currently employed has ties with diamond motors (although we are in a different industry which is architectural).the MSRP for the 1.6 lancer is about 690K (that was october '05) but the company offered the new model for the price of...(drums rolling).....a headturner 550K!

what i noticed about this car is the 0-60 acceleration...m-a-b-a-g-a-l. parang may lag nga eh. di ko lang alam kung design failure yun sa stock airbox. isa pa yung exhaust saka downpipe...parang sakal na sakal. sabi nga nila di ba" everybody needs to breath." it seems like i have lots of observation about this model but hey...it only needs some crankin and yankin! i need your help guys. does anyone here knows local websites for simota, fuzion R, or any reliable header manufacturer?

Niky, yes Nissan has Chain (Xtronic)CVTs for their tranny as well as Mazda for their Japanese big sedans.

...and also, any suggestions abt suspension? i heard whiteline is great but do they have models for lancers? my friend has one for his civic and he got it all for just under 10K.

here's my opinion:

my question is this...is there any way to add some considerable numbers to its powerplant although i havent got any luck on finding performance parts for this model over the internet. any local resource will be greatly appreciated.

also, does simota have an official website gusto ko sana makita comparison nya sa K&N kasi sabi nila mas okey pala yun (but from my own point of view "pangalan lang yun")
-K&N is defenitely better than Simota. Simota is for the low budgeted peeps. like me... hehehe
they have totally different designs and materials. much durable. 1M miles warranty...

correct me if im wrong...from what i heard, A/T tranny consumes more fuel?
-true in most cases. may konting lag kasi before it really accelerates. unlike the manual tranny, mabilis.

-you can opt to but a prefabricated and branded exhaust system but it will cost you. try going to FREMUFF. they can do a full exhaust under 10TH.

i hope this helps. btw, doing stuffs like this might void the warranty. so be careful unless you don't give a damn about warranty. hehehe.
