in my case, even though i am using stock spark plugs, my plug interval change is 6 months. hindi sulit kung one year lang ang change interval mo.

btw, for OEM iridium plugs, the change interval is 100,000 kilometers or roughly five years for my current usage.

those in the usa have their OEM plugs changed at 100,000 miles and yet the plugs showed little wear & tear when removed.

for aftermarket iridium plugs, it is only around 20 to 30K kilometers.

that speaks volumes about how your ignition system should be designed to use iridium plugs in the first place.

kung 20-30k kilometers (or roughly 2 to 3 years if the vehicle is averaging 10k/kms/annually, which i think is the average, sulit na yan. pero sabi nga sa casa, kung 10k kms lang, which is one year, hindi sulit.

Sounds okay... as far as casas go. But I don't think you'll need Iridium plugs at such short change intervals... not unless Honda is willing to extend the change interval because you're using those fancy plugs. If they don't want to extend the change interval, it's probably not worth it except for maybe 0.5 hp of additional power...
accdg to the service advisor, the interval will change from 20k to 40k. pero ang laki ng difference pala... hindi lang 1.5k, the normal spark plugs are priced at 800+ for 8pcs, yung iridium 4.8k ata.

am not too concerned on power increase kaya ok lang yung normal for now tutal bago pa yung engine

    Still not worth it.

Ordinary plugs are priced at 100 pesos or lower while iridium plugs are worth 500 pesos and up.

I had mine replaced yesterday at Speedyfix (but it was sourced from Emperor - hehe) - pinakita sa akin nung mekaniko na medyo laspag na yung luma ko. It lasted for 90,000 kilometers. 600 per piece for a Denso NGK Iridirum (no labor fee though).
