    ganito po...pagstart po ng engine akyat rpm more than 2k then unti-unti bababa around 1000-1200, same thing when aircon is on, ugong talaga makina nito.
    then pagpasok sa 1st gear akyat ulit rpm morethan 2k w/o steeping the gas pedal, but this time hindi na bumababa sa 2k yong rpm kahit irelease clutch pedal. hindi na nga po nahihirapan umandar e sa sobrang taas ng rpm.
    dinala na po sa mekaniko pero sagad na raw idle adjusment.
    ano pa po kaya pwede gawin para mapababa rpm nito??? lakas kasi sa gas e.
    '96 mitsu lancer itlog po yong oto and kakabili lang po last week.

    Check your idle up switch and vaccuum. ALso yun mechanicals (springs and all) ng carb (i assume) and also your accelerator cable baka madumi na at puros kalawang kaya di maitulak ng spring sa dulo.

    ah ok. check mo idle control valve or clean mo butterfly ng intake mo. check also maf sensor.

    * grantt....... You car is fuel injection as you stated. At any circumtances DO NOT touch that HEX SCREW to adjust idle, that unit is PRESET at the factory and cannot be changed setting wise. Try cleaned the throttle plates and motor vac using carb cleaner.

    maari meron pumapasok sa engine mo na un-metered air and the ecu is adding fuel to compensate for that un-metered air. check all vacuum hoses. and check also the MAF connector clean and tighten if necessary baka me error sa calculation ng mass air and ginagamit lang ng ecu ang default values to prevent die-out.

    sa akin sagad na rin yun idling adjustment. 1k pinaka mababang rpm. sinubukan ko na rin reset yun ECU. nalinis na yun throttle valve.

    servo raw po ang problema. may naputol raw po sa loob.
    sabi mekaniko around 8k raw new nito???
    so sa ngayon tiis na lang muna hanggang makaipon.
    saan po kaya sa banawe pwede makuha nito???
    hindi ko kasi kabisado lugar na yon e.

    *grant,try to visit mandaluyong doon sa may kalentong meron mga mitsubishi store nagbebenta ng servo kit and the price is p1k 3years ago.thanks and goodluck.

    The servo kit you are referring to is not the actual servo kit, it is only composed of a a plastic screw with springs aiding the idling process. But in the end it would be better to replace with the actual kit, coz the plastic thingy could only last for a few months, sayang ang pera. The servo kit you are referring to only costs P700 - P850 here.

    Bro.,- didn't you do a test drive before you bought the car? In which case, you should have noticed this anomaly.

    Or, did this just happen a week after you bought it?

    What I'm trying to establish here is that the owner could have known this problem earlier and have not told you. Real sad....

    si utol at mekaniko tumingin. hindi raw napansin ni utol itong problema dati. hindi kasi sya sanay sa walang rpm guage kaya hindi nya napansin. sabi ko nga baka niloko lang sya ng mekaniko para mayron syang trabaho.
    okay rin po ba replacement part na servo???mas mura kasi e.

    mga guru's,regarding doon sa servo repair kit eh agree akong d tumatagal lalo na kung hindi oem pero siguro case to case basis po dahil ung sa kin eh ang ginamit ko lamang from the repair kit eh ung magnetic gear(made of ferrite) dhl medyo worn out na ung luma * high idle ung result during initial start-up.so far until now since 1994 eh ok pa naman po.my ride is mitsu lancer94 model a/t.thanks very much and more power...

RPM, sobrang taas...
