    Good day tsikoteers,

tanong ko lang kung meron kayong alam na shop na naglilinis ng intercoolers.

Balak ko kasi ipabaklas ung intercoller sa kabitbahay naming mekaniko para ung na lang intercooler ang dadalhin ko sa shop.

    any advise is greatly appreciated.

    thank you.

Buy half liter of kerosene. Pour half of it inside the cooler then close all hole with plastic and rubber band or masking tape. Shaking side to side up and down for around two minutes. Repeat again with the left kerosene. Let it drip dry then re install it. That should do the job.

Not as effective, oil inside the passages should be dissolved and kerosene is better than diesel in this job while gasoline is costly. Water and soap might clog. I have personally done this and it worked. Excess kerosene inside the cooler will be blown to the intake and burned in the chamber.

engine degreasers, kerosene/parasene, & pressurized water is ok just be sure it dries out completely before you re install and turn the engine on..goodluck!
